Fark is a really good blog. It contains loads of stories in brief with the link to the full article. Sounds pretty normal right? Wrong its a tad quirky and has little tags next to each story which categorize each news piece under headings like 'sad', 'obvious', 'scary', 'weird', 'interesting', 'stupid', 'silly','sick', 'cool' etc. Its good because it stops you wasting your time on pointless stories.
ALso interesting article form Jossip with good list of other blogs

Clothes and Politics are inextricably linked. In America it seem as though those wives who triumphed in the fashion polls had a positive effect on the image of their political other halves.
First there was an article in Sunday Style magazine comparing power dresser Michelle Obama to the try-hard die-hard other politicians' wives such as Hilary Clinton. The papers fell in love with Mrs Obama's relaxed yet chic style which was classy but affordable.
then there was the Slag off Sarah stage which consisted of ripping Palin for her splurge on expensive ensembles. Palin and Clinton are now out of date 'has beens', no one really cares how much they spend on their shoes. SO Obama has trophied triumphant and interest now seems to be concentrated on the fashionolotics of the Obamas, it hs certainly gone to a whole new level in the form of Malia Obama, Barack's 10 year-old daughter. Apparently the Amercians are so desperate to buy her Biscotti Inc. red taffeta dress, but its sold out! If this trend continues how will this translate in the UK. Will the PM's wives have to be fashionable as well as producing chic children in order to secure popularity for their spouse?
Nancy Cameron, David Cameron's daughter has already got the modeling bug, appearing on the front cover of Harpers Bazaar with Mrs Cameron (AKA Sam Cam) Nancy sported a princess crown and pretty pink dress.
Nancy's style certainly derives from her mother Samantha Cameron, who is an "ambassador" for Smythson as it enters the fashion market. She recently launched the Nancy handbag, which retails at £750, possibly named after her own daughter, at a star-studded party in Beverly Hills. The first batch sold out straight away. . All that remains left is for David Cameron to follow in the footsteps of his girls and get himself his own followers.

These are my two favourite journalists-Susie Boyt for for the Financial Times and Aspasia Karras's Frock report for the Times.
They are both great, exciting writers, writing about things I love- celebrity and fashion- but in a clever and amusing way!

Has anyone watched the first few episodes of ELLE magazines Stylista? Its a new reality television programme where interns compete for a job at ELLE magazine. I cant watch it in England so was wondering if there is anything but more than this preview on the Times's Frock Report.
OMG absolutely love TMZ blog site-it has some of the most hilarious comments on the photos of celebrities-I was laughing my socks off like a proper hyena!hehe!
